HOURLY EMPLOYEE POSITION DESCRIPTION
Title: Maintenance Level 4 Associate
Department: Maintenance
Job Grade:Hourly (MTA4)
General Summary:
Perform all types of maintenance work on the equipment and facilities in a multi-craft environment at Henniges Automotive in Reidsville North Carolina. This will include breakdown maintenance, preventative maintenance, fabrication, installation, startup and project work.
Responsibilities:
Multi-Crafted to include PLC connectivity and troubleshooting, robotics, electronics, computer proficiency, networking, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic and mechanical.
Program Drives, Controllers, and Robotic modification.
Knowledge of Integrated Systems
Perform assigned tasks in a professional and safe manner and comply with governing standards and work rules as established by the Union Contract, the NEC, OSHA, ETC.
Provide his or her own tools and keep the required tools accessible to assigned job sites.
Plan their work and do material and tool lists and perform their assigned tasks in an effective and timely manner to include: performing PM, troubleshooting, installation and repair/modification of equipment as directed.
Notify supervisor of recurrent Downtime items, Quality issues and Unsafe Items.
Assist in the continuous improvement of the facility.
Familiarize him / herself with all plant equipment to facilitate troubleshooting abilities.
Provide in writing and in full detail of parts needed.
Cooperate with all functions of Henniges Automotive to ensure Quality Teamwork.
Endeavor to increase their skill levels through additional training.
Complete in detail required PM paperwork/documentation.
Complete tasks of lower Maintenance Levels (MTA2-MTA4)
All other duties as assigned
Specific Measurements of Performance:
Task attainment in a cost and time efficient manner
Increase in equipment reliability / downtime reduction
Eliminate MRO / Stock Item inventory variances
Drive safety awareness to achieve zero incidents
Qualifications:
Must be able to pass the written and practical tests for the desired level. MUST have electrical and PLC experience.
Education:
Associates Degree or 5+ years of experience in electronics, electrical, computer programming or equivalent field.
Skills and Training Required:
• Must have good verbal and written communication skills and must stay current on advancements in the general maintenance field.
• Must have excellent computer and networking skills.
• Must have efficient working knowledge of PLC programs and robotics.

Pay Scale for the Maintenance Level 4 position based on current union contract is:
Starting pay rate $30.04
6 month increase $31.82
