Production Technician Pay
  • Starting wage = $18.00/hour
  • Progress to $20.00/hour (top pay) in as fast as 60 days with excellent performance and attendance. Increases based upon individual team member performance and attendance. Not all TMs will reach top pay at 60 days.
Extrusion Technician Pay
  • Starting wage = $20.00/hour
  • Progress to top pay $21.95/hour with excellent performance and attendance. Increases based upon time in extrusion, individual team member performance and attendance.
  • Rates include $1.00 per hour shift differential
  • Excellent track record of providing annual pay increases
  • Time and half pay for over 40 hours worked
  • Double-time pay on Sunday (must work 7 complete as scheduled consecutive days in a work week Mon-Sun
  • Paid Holiday and Vacation hours will be used as hours worked to compute OT/DT.

      Drug Screen Required

      As a valued member of the Henniges Automotive team, you will safely produce quality parts within a production team and strive for continuous improvement to sustain a high level of production performance within the plant.

      ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:


      Perform light production jobs within the team. This may include:

      • Part Prep – clip wires, cut, notch, pin, bend
      • Molding – TPV, EPDM, sponge, glass encapsulation (requires ability to withstand heat)
      • Assembly – Trim, plug, prime, pad, tape, install bracket
      • Pack / Label – place finished product in box for shipment and identify container with a printed label
      • Inspect/Gage – visual checks for defects compared to customer’s requirement (may include using a gage to determine conformance to specified length or placement of cut, notch, etc.
      • General Housekeeping Duties
      • Duties as assigned – GP-12 Inspector, Material Handling, Box-making, Barwell, Chemical Mixer
      Perform other tasks as assigned by coach/management. All operations require the ability to do steady continuous flow production (manual dexterity), to stand for long periods of time & ability to identify quality defects (visual comparison) in a safe-conscience environment. Quality requires the job to be performed correctly the first time.

      IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:


      • Ability to work in a team environment
      • Manufacturing experience preferred not required; provide On the Job Training
      • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred, but not necessary
      • Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions.
      • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form.
